SparkFun adds to the collection of useful breakout boards with a
non-isolated, 6A DC-to-DC Converter Module. The module can convert any
DC
voltage between 4.5-14VDC to a selectable voltage between 0.59 and
5.5VDC.
Set the desired voltage with a resistor between the Trim
and GND pins - that's it. For example, to get a 5V
output, use a 1.34kΩ resistor. Use a 2.2kΩ
to get approximately 3.3V. All details are in the module's
datasheet.
For added convenience, you can toggle the power via the
board's ON/OFF pin (high=on, low=off)
Just add your resistor, and you're converting DC!
